Peppermint Patties

Another holiday classic! These fun sized peppermint patties are easy and put a little twist on the original peppermint patty. This is a great recipe to add to all your holiday baking.
8oz of softened cream cheese
2 tbs softened butter
6 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp peppermint extract
1 cup melted chocolate chips
In a mixing bowl combine cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar.
Next mix in the peppermint extract.
If the batter is really sticky add more powdered sugar.
Roll into 1 inch balls and press your thumb in the middle to create a pool.

Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave, and put it in a sandwich bag, cut the tip and fill the patties with chocolate.
Let them air dry for 2 hours.
