I've got an easy homemade white bread that will knock your socks off. This bread is delicious and fluffy and perfect in every way. I'm not going to lie making bread is hard, it took me several recipes and tries to finally get it right. It couldn't get much easier then this recipe right here. I love the smell of fresh baking bread through out the house. Give it a whirl you may become a bread maker yourself in no time.

2 1/4 tsp dry active yest

2 cups warm water

4 tbs melted butter

1 tbs sugar

2 tsp salt

5 1/4 cups flour

In a mixing bowl add yest and warm water. Stir until dissolved. Using a wooden spoon stir in butter, sugar, and salt. Continue stiring, add the floor one cup at a time. Once you have added 4 cups of flour take the dough out and knead it adding the extra cup and 1/4. The dough will have some stick to it and that's how it's supposed to be. Knead for about 10 minutes.

In a big bowl that is buttered place dough in and cover it with plastic wrap. Let rise 1 hour.

Take the dough out and knead about 5 minutes. Return to the bowl cover and let rise another hour.

Divide the dough into two and shape them in a loaf. In 2 butter bread pans add the dough, cover and let rise 1 more hour.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and bake 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.

Cool on a cooling rack.
