Homemade Cakey Brownies

These homemade cakey brownies are Yummy with a capital Y. They are super simple. My son can pretty much whip these up himself. This is "our brownie recipe". He's my brownie lover, so we came up with this one together. Although owey gooey brownies are just as delicious these cakey ones top our list! Make them, you won't disappoint. 

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup flour

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract 

1/2 cup melted butter

Sift all of the dry ingredients together. Set aside.

Melt butter, let cool slightly. Mix in eggs and vanilla.

Add the wet to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined. Now mix in the chocolate chips. 

Add the batter to a greased 8x8 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
