These cookies come from my freezer cookie dough. Here is the link to that post.

I love making this dough ahead of time and freezing it. I add in whatever mix ins I am feeling like. Then pull out my log of dough, slice, and bake. Then I have fresh homemade cookies anytime I want. I will add the recipe to this post in case you make it and bake right away. These are pretty hard to resist.
For the dough: 2 1/2 cups flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 1/4 cups brown sugar 1/4 cups sugar 2 sticks of softened butter 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup chocolate chunks
1/4 cup sliced almonds
In a medium bowl sift flour, baking soda, and salt. In a mixing bowl cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Once it's combined beat in one egg at a time then add the vanilla. Now add in the flour mixture slowly while mixing.
Add the chocolate chunks and almonds. Spoon pretty good spoon fulls onto cookies sheets and bake at 350 degrees for about 12 to 15 minutes.
