It's strawberry season! So I will share my

homemade canned Strawberry jam, without sure jell (fruit pectin). This is great to put on toast, pancakes, and my favorite way topped on Vanilla Ice cream! I've been playing around with these recipes for jam, I don't care to use the sure jell because the amount of sugar you need is just crazy. 7 cups! Yuck! I wanted to enjoy to more natural taste of the strawberries with less sugar. This recipe makes a small batch but it's very easy to double/triple/quadruple which I do very often. 2 cups cut up strawberries 3/4 cups sugar 1 Tbs lemon juice

Put all of the ingredients in a pot, mix it up to get it all combined. On medium/high heat bring to a boil. Make sure to stir consistently so it doesn't burn. Once it's boiling keep going another 15 minutes or so you will notice it will thicken up. Once it's a good thick consistency pour into your hot jars and seal with hot lids. And there you have very easy very yummy strawberry jam!
