Homemade Granola Bars

Granola bars are great snack, but did you realize how easy it is to make your own. Well here's my kid friendly version of granola bars with mini M&M's and mini chocolate chips.
2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
1/2 cup rice cereal
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup mini M&M's
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup softened butter
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
In a large bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix together.

Now add in all the wet ingredients, and mix until everything is combined.

In a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray, add the granola and press down evenly. Sprinkle some mini M&M's and mini chocolate chips over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. Let cool completely and cut into bars once they are cooled.
