So easy Rhubarb Sauce is a great way to use up this always giving plant. I have so many uses for this sauce I would be here all day naming off all of my uses. But the most popular use in my household is the warm sauce on vanilla ice cream. It's just so delicious! Other great uses for it are on pancakes and waffles. Pie filling. It's easy to freeze and pull out at any time to use.

6 cups chopped rhubarb

1 cup sugar

2 tbs water

1 dash of ground cinnamon

Combine all the ingredients in a large saucepan, over medium/high heat, while stirring bring to a boil. Continue stiring until the rhubarb is broken down and saucey. It takes about 15 minutes. Let it cool, to give it more of a nice bright red add a little red food coloring. Just makes it more appetizing. Store in the refrigerator or freeze in gallon sized bags.
