Coffee Crumb Cake

If you love moist rich coffee cake, I've got the recipe for you. It starts out with a delicious layer of yellow cake. It's moist rich with flavor. The star of this cake is the thick layer of golden buttery crumb topping. Dusted with a generous amount of powdered sugar. This is the perfect crumb cake to have with your breakfast and don't forget to grab a cup of coffee.
For the cake:
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbs vegetable oil
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
For the topping:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 sticks melted butter
Powdered sugar for dusting

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, butter and flour 9x13 pan.
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into a medium bowl. In a separate bowl whisk egg, milk, oil, and vanilla until combined. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, gently fold in. Pour into pan and spread evenly. The layer will be thin. Set aside.
To make the topping, in a bowl whisk flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Pour the melted butter over and toss until well combined. Sprinkle topping over the batter evenly. Bake for 20 mintues or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Dust generously with powdered sugar. Store covered for up to 4 days.
