Add this cheese ball to an appetizer you serve at holiday's, parties, family gatherings and so much more. I love this cheese ball recipe because it is very easy to prepare. It's also something different, I feel like we always have the chips and dip, veggies, cheese and sausage, boring! This is a great twist to something new. I served this recipe as my starting appetizer at Easter.
8oz cream cheese softened
1 cup sharp shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried parsley
Dash of pepper
1/2 cup chopped pecans
With a mixer whip the cream cheese until smooth, add the Cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, and pepper. Mix to combine. Lump the mixture into a ball and form it with your hands. Roll in the pecans to cover the ball. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with crackers.
