A homemade beef stroganoff is an easy weeknight night dinner, but its taste will make you think you've been preparing this for hours ahead. I love making Stroganoff, it's definitely one of my top easy go to week night dinners. It doesn't require a lot of work, but you will love it. I love the creaminess of this dish, it's worth giving it a try!
1 lb ground beef
1 medium diced onion
2 cloves crushed garlic
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup cream such as half and half
1/2 cup beef stock
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp parsley
salt and pepper
1 box cooked linguine noodles
Brown the beef with the onions, drain off the grease. Add to the beef, garlic, cream of mushroom soup, half and half, beef stock, basil, parsley, and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer about 8 minutes. You will notice it coming together it won't be so soupy it will be more creamy. Add the sour cream mixing it in to combine and let it cook another couple minutes. Serve over noodles and enjoy.
