Extra Large Peanut Butter Cookies

Extra large peanut butter cookies are not only big in size but in taste too! I wanted to revamp my traditional peanut butter cookie recipe and turn it in to something that made you say wow this cookie is the best peanut butter cookie I have ever had.
1 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup peanut butter chips
sugar for sprinkling the tops of the cookies
In a mixing bowl combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter. Mix until creamy add the eggs and vanilla, mix again until combined.
In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture mixing until combined. Fold in the peanut butter chips.
Next on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper drop the dough in good size balls, remember these are extra large so you can go as big as you want. Flatten the ball down with a fork and sprinkle the tops with sugar. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
