The Perfect Burger

This is a recipe that my husband came up with, as he is the resident griller in the house. This is an easy way to have a great tasting burger that is perfectly juicy and delicious and the possibilities are endless on how you serve them, with cheese, bacon, tomatoes, fried onions, lettuce and on and on. Have fun with it.

2 lbs hamburger

2 tbs worcestershire sauce

1 tbs onion flakes

1 tsp seasoning salt

1 tsp ground pepper

a dash of garlic powder

Add all the ingredients in with the hamburger and mix well, using your hands. Next take a good sized chunck of meant roll it into a ball about the size of your palm or a little smaller. From here you can use a hamburger press ensuring they come out perfectly but you can also form the patty with your hands using your thumbs to form the patty. Either way they both work great. On a hot cast iron skillet (I put mine on the stove top) lay the patties on. Cook each side for 6 minutes. If you want cheese add that the last minute or so the cheese will melt right on there. Once the patties are done let them rest about 5 minutes this gets the juices flowing and you will have a perfectly juicy and delicious hamburger.
