Strawberry Banana Bread

Who loves banana bread? I do, but here is a traditional banana bread recipe with a twist. A strawberry banana bread. It's fantastic, super easy, and very yummy. Read on and I bet you will be making this recipe tonight.

 

1/2 cup butter (softened)

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

3 ripe bananas smashed

1 1/2 cups of strawberries chopped and coated in flour

 

Prepare 2 bread pans greased, and set the oven to 375 degrees.

Cream together in a mixer sugar and butter. Once that is combined well add the eggs. Mix just until they are incorporated. Now add the bananas mix until combined. In a separate bowl sift flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly adding the flour mixture to the banana mixture combine until they are mixed together. Fold in the chopped strawberries covered in flour. Pour half the batter in one bread pan and half in the other. Bake at 375 for 15. Turn heat down to 350 and continue baking for 30 minutes. Check with a tooth pick to make sure it comes out clean and the bread will be done. Cool on the counter for a few minutes then take the bread out to a cooling rack.
